Accommodation / contract management

Service description

In Germany, politically persecuted persons are entitled to recognition as persons entitled to asylum (Basic Law Art. 16a). Anyone wishing to make use of this right must undergo a recognition procedure. The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) is responsible for carrying out the procedure. During the procedure, persons entitled to benefits under the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (AsylbLG) are accommodated and cared for within the shared accommodations and apartments provided by the Landkreis Börde, as well as registered under registration law.

Who should I contact?

You can obtain further information and assistance from the local authorities responsible for housing in the administrative districts and independent cities. If you live in the administrative district, the Landkreis Börde is responsible. Please contact the Office for Migration.
