So far, 1,918 war refugees (as of December 1, 2022) from Ukraine have been accepted in the Börde district. Among them are 229 children in kindergarten and 487 children of school age. So far, Ukrainian war refugees who have stayed with friends and relatives or otherwise privately have not been recorded.
