Berufsförderungswerke
The Berufsförderungswerk (Vocational Training Center) is available at five locations in Saxony-Anhalt. These are: Staßfurt, Magdeburg, Halle, Dessau-Roßlau and Halberstadt. It has made it its business to offer a professional reorientation for people who, due to illness or accident, can no longer or permanently no longer perform their professional activities for a long time. It offers vocational support and competence enhancement, with a focus on health-related restrictions. It pursues the goal of enabling people to lead a fulfilling working life and to support this. This is done through needs-oriented rehabilitation, up to and including job placement. In Germany, 12,000 training places are available for this purpose and 250 qualification offers.
