"The official office hours of the employees will therefore be increased from 8 to 14 hours per week. In addition, employees will be available to answer questions and concerns by telephone and email," explains District Administrator Martin Stichnoth.
Separate opening hours apply for the Road Traffic Office, the Office for Migration and Social Affairs and the District Archive. The opening hours of the Office for Social Affairs and Integration remain unchanged. The opening hours of the district archive will be shortened in line with demand. From now on, you can reach the district archive on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 15:00, as well as by appointment.
"At the road traffic office, on the other hand, we have shifted capacities. The previous opening hours on Mondays in Haldensleben and Wednesdays in Oschersleben have often led to misunderstandings in the past. To prevent this, we are now offering opening hours from Tuesday to Friday at both locations," says Stichnoth. All appointments already made will of course remain the same.
