The Office for Information Technology and Digitization is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing technical services as well as procuring hardware and software for the entire district administration.

Tasks

• Information technology infrastructure (hardware and system software, databases, data transmission networks) planning, installation, operation and further development
• User support (including first-level support), user training, user documentation, user information
• Procurement of hardware and software (servers and user terminals, databases)
• Planning, organization and implementation of technical services
• GIS (provision of central geoinformation, maintenance of basic hardware structure, provision and development of services (WebGIS, ArgGIS)
• Determination, collection and evaluation of area-related data, collection of specialized information and its preparation for GIS, etc.)
• Support of administrative processes through the use of information and communication technologies.
