The exhibition focuses on the shops in Wolmirstedt in the period from 1900 to the mid-2000s. Wolmirstedt had numerous small shops with a variety of offers; photo shop, drugstore, children's clothing, stationery shop, grocery shops, furniture store, buying and selling, hardware shop, sporting goods shop and delicatessen and much more.
Probably the best-known shops in August-Bebel-Straße were the Wallbaum drugstore and the Diedrich watch and jewellery shop.
Many lenders supported the museum with products from times long past.
The exhibition can be visited Tuesday to Thursday from 9.00 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 17.00, Friday from 9.00 to 12.00 and Sunday from 13.00 to 17.00.
