Due to outstanding performances, the “Clarinet Quartet” of the Kreismusikschule Wolmirstedt / Haldensleben qualified for the final “2023” in Reichenbach via the regional and state competition stages.
Clarinet teacher Uwe Blamberg had prepared Hermine and Emil Möritz, Sue Jungbluth and Sissi Franz for the final performance. And that is precisely why the tireless efforts of teachers and students have paid off. With an outstanding 21 out of 25 possible points, the quartet won a respectable 3rd Federal Prize. It was the 60th edition of the competition, supported by the Federal Ministry for Families and the Sparkasse. The district of Börde is the sponsor of two music schools "Wolmirstedt / Haldensleben" and "Kurt Masur" in Oschersleben.
