In addition to the chief administrative officers of the municipalities belonging to the district and their representatives, the participants included representatives from the Ministry of Digital and Infrastructure, the state road construction authority, the Office for Agriculture, Forestry and Land Consolidation, the police, the Börde district cycling working group, the Saxony-Anhalt Bicycle-Friendly Municipalities working group, the parliamentary groups of the district council and employees of the district administration.
The following topics were discussed from the point of view of various stakeholders on the basis of thematic presentations:
- Condition survey and assessment of the existing network of district, state and federal roads as well as tourist cycle routes
- Assessment basis, urgency and prioritisation in the development of individual measures
- Planned construction projects of the Saxony-Anhalt state road construction authority in the Börde district
- Cycle path projects within the framework of rural road construction
- Accident statistics in the Börde district with a focus on cycling
- Climate protection and cycling
- Junction systems along tourist routes in the Börde district
- Funding applications for the expansion of cycle paths
