Nationwide warning day

Punctually at 11:00 a.m., Minister Dr. Tamara Zieschang triggered the siren warning at the Integrated Control Center of the Börde County, activating all 274 sirens in the county.

In addition, test warnings were sent nationwide as cell phone messages via the "Cell Broadcast" system and warning apps such as NINA or KAT-Warn, and test warnings were broadcast on radio and television.

The Nationwide Warning Day is a day of action by the federal, state and local governments to jointly test the various warning systems and make the public aware of the warning tools. It takes place annually on the second Thursday in September, and for the third time in 2023.

The Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK) has posted a survey online about Warning Day. How were you reached? Share your experience at: https://www.warntag-umfrage.de/
