Turmruine Nordhusen Hundisburg

In the middle of the 12th century, the church of Nordhusen received a west cross tower of above-average dimensions. Today, the ruined tower is the only preserved structure of the village, which became deserted in the 15th century. The fact that the tower is well preserved to this day is thanks to Burg Hundisburg. It first served as a watchtower, and later, when the castle was converted into a palace, it offered a romantically charming view. Ruin freely accessible.
