The carol singers from St Martin's Primary School in Oschersleben and the Catholic parish of St Christopherus in Haldensleben were welcomed. With their visit, the children and young people set a visible sign of cohesion, solidarity and social commitment.
In 2026, the 68th Three Kings' Singing campaign will focus on the motto "School instead of factory". The nationwide campaign draws attention to the importance of children's rights and shows that every child has a right to a life in dignity, education and protection. At the same time, it teaches the carol singers how their commitment helps to strengthen children's rights worldwide.
"The carol singers' visit is a special moment for us every year. It reminds us to take responsibility for the weakest and to work for fair living conditions for children worldwide," emphasises District Administrator Martin Stichnoth.
The district of Börde would like to thank all the carol singers and the accompanying adults for their commitment and dedication to children's rights.
