Girls' Day and Boys' Day 2026

Börde district calls on schoolchildren, companies and institutions to actively participate

On 23 April, Girls' and Boys' Day - Future Day - will take place nationwide for pupils from the 5th grade onwards.

The district of Börde is once again actively participating in this important orientation day and invites pupils to gain an insight into exciting professional fields. At the same time, the district is calling on companies, businesses and institutions to provide their own offers and thus make a valuable contribution to promoting young talent.

The Future Day offers young people the opportunity to familiarise themselves with professions that are traditionally associated with the opposite sex. Through practical insights, discussions with specialists and initial small tasks, the participants experience how diverse the work in the Börde district is.

On this career orientation day, pupils gain insights into real work processes as well as direct contact with potential training companies.

The Future Day also serves to break down role stereotypes.

The Future Day also offers participating companies and institutions the opportunity to present their own company and make contact with potential trainees at an early stage. Especially in times of a shortage of skilled labour, this is an opportunity to attract young talent to the region and retain them in the long term.

Pupils can register via the official portals:

Companies and institutions in the Börde district are invited to post their own offers and thus actively contribute to career guidance. Registration also takes place via the aforementioned portals (girls-day.de/radar and boys-day.de/radar).
