The submitted images vividly showcase the diversity of the landscape, nature, the local towns and villages, and the special moments that make our home such a wonderful place to live.

Now it’s the public’s turn

From 1 July up to and including 31 July 2026, all eligible competition entries will be on public display at the Börde district administration building, Bornsche Straße 2 in Haldensleben.

During the exhibition period, anyone interested is warmly invited to visit the exhibition and take part in the voting . One vote may be cast for each of the four seasons.

The best photographs for each season that receive the most votes will be awarded prizes. In addition, the overall winner of the photography competition will be chosen from all the submitted entries; this will be the photograph with the most votes across all categories.

The winners will be announced on 19 August 2026, World Photography Day.

The Börde district is looking forward to welcoming many visitors and to a lively participation in the public vote, and would like to thank in advance all the photographers who have showcased the Börde district in such a special way through their photographs.
