The district will continue its reliable support for organised sport in 2026. As part of the project funding, the personnel costs for the district sports instructor and the sports promotion officer will once again be covered. The district will also contribute to the management costs incurred.
The district's sports funding also covers a wide range of focal points. Among other things, it supports the remuneration of trainers, the purchase of sports equipment and the organisation of sports events. The district also supports training and further education in the field of sport, sports awards, the organisation of children's and youth games, the promotion of state performance centres and lump-sum grants for children and young people.
District Administrator Martin Stichnoth emphasises: "Sport is an essential part of social life in our district. With our funding, we are creating a reliable framework for the dedicated work of the district sports association, the clubs and their many volunteers."
With this grant, the district of Börde is once again emphasising the great importance of sport for cohesion, health and the promotion of young talent in the region.
