Through an information exhibition, the self-help group aims to showcase its wide-ranging voluntary work, provide information about rheumatic conditions and, in particular, draw the attention of those affected and their families to the support services available.
Rheumatic diseases affect people of all ages and can have a significant impact on daily life. Alongside medical treatment, sharing experiences with others living with the condition plays an important role. The self-help group offers a safe space for this, providing personal advice, opportunities to share experiences, regular group meetings, as well as joint activities and exercise programmes.
The exhibition provides information on the various clinical pictures, the services offered by the Rheuma-Liga, and the opportunities to join a self-help group. Visitors will gain an insight into the valuable voluntary work that offers those affected guidance, support and new perspectives.
The Börde district cordially invites all interested residents to visit the exhibition during the campaign period and to find out more about what the self-help group has to offer.
