"Volunteering is an indispensable part of our social life. Countless citizens put their heart and soul into clubs and initiatives every day. This commitment deserves recognition, support and, above all, visibility," emphasises District Administrator Martin Stichnoth.
With this new service, the Börde district would like to offer associations an uncomplicated way to draw attention to themselves and attract new members.
Numerous citizens visit the district administration office every day. This high visitor frequency is to be utilised in future to provide information about the diverse range of clubs and associations in the Börde district. Associations will be given the opportunity to present themselves in the foyer with posters, information material or small exhibitions for a certain period of time. In this way, interested parties can find out more about the work of the respective associations, make direct contacts and, if necessary, be inspired to become actively involved.
The district sees itself as a reliable partner for voluntary work. By providing the exhibition space, the aim is to further promote and honour civic commitment.
Whether sports clubs, cultural initiatives, social institutions or local heritage associations, all voluntary organisations are expressly encouraged to take up this offer.
Organisations interested in a presentation in the foyer of the district administration office can contact the Börde district press office with immediate effect. All enquiries will be coordinated there and the organisational details agreed.
