Tanja Litmanowitsch, who had taken on this responsible role in January 2024, led the school with exceptional dedication and professional reliability right up until her last day in the post. To mark her departure, Daniel Günther, the relevant head of department for the district, visited the acting head on site to thank her personally and warmly, on behalf of the administration, for her work over the past two and a half years.
Tanja Litmanowitsch has been associated with the Börde district and the music school as a permanent teacher since 2008. In addition to her teaching role in piano, she has been involved in a wide range of activities from the very beginning, including piano coaching – the professional musical accompaniment of pupils on their instruments. In 2011, she was appointed as a specialist piano teacher. When the position of acting head of the Wolmirstedt/Haldensleben Music School became vacant in January 2024, she took on, without hesitation, the full responsibility for the organisational, personnel and academic management of the institution.
During her time as acting head, Ms Litmanowitsch succeeded in reliably structuring day-to-day operations, reorganising administrative processes and firmly establishing the music school within the cultural life of the district through high-calibre concerts and projects. She distinguished herself in particular through her outstanding interpersonal skills: through her cooperative and conciliatory leadership style, she created a working atmosphere characterised by trust and a strong team spirit, which earned her broad support and high regard amongst the entire teaching staff.
“Ms Litmanowitsch took over the leadership of the music school during a critical transitional phase and without any specific prior administrative training. The fact that she mastered this challenge with such brilliance, professionalism and human warmth deserves the highest recognition,” emphasises the head of the Börde district administration. “Not only did she steer the institution steadily through the period leading up to the merger, but she also had a lasting and inspiring effect on the school’s internal structure. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for this extraordinary commitment and the excellent cooperation.”
