Apprenticeship as administrative assistant (m/f/d)

The district has been training administrative assistants since 1991. More than 30 instructors and training officers assist with the training. The results of the intermediate and final examinations are always above the state average. Trainees are guaranteed employment if they pass their exams and perform well.

Duration of training: 3 years Start of training: August 1 of each year

Earnings: remuneration as well as vacation days are regulated by the provisions of the collective agreement for public service trainees (TVAöD) and by the Vocational Training Act (BBiG).

Remuneration:

  • 1st year of training: 1,068.26 euros
  • 2nd year of training: 1,118.20 euros
  • 3rd year of training: 1,164.02 euros

Other benefits:

  • Capital-forming benefit: 13.29 euros
  • Special annual payment amounting to 90 percent of gross monthly salary
  • 50.00 euros per training year for teaching materials
  • Final bonus in the amount of 400.00 euros

Vacation: Trainees have 30 vacation days in a calendar year.

The training process in the dual system

Practice :

  • Assignment in various offices and facilities of the Börde district (in a rhythm of about 6 weeks)
  • Participation in seminars, projects and team development training

Theory :

  • Block instruction at the vocational schools of the Börde district in Haldensleben in subjects such as: Constitutional law, labor law, civil service law, municipal law, budgetary law, private law, administrative law, etc.
  • Studieninstitut für kommunale Verwaltung Sachsen-Anhalt e. V. for preparation for the intermediate and final examinations
  • additional in-service instruction (authority instruction) within the authority

The application procedure

Requirements profile:

  • erw. Realschulabschluss (grade point average of at least 2.1),
  • German, math, social studies not worse than grade 2
  • advanced technical college entrance qualification (minimum average of 9 rank points).
  • personal requirements: Ability to work in a team, communication skills, a friendly approach to citizens, an open-minded, friendly and reliable manner, good written expression skills, basic knowledge of using a PC and enjoy working and applying laws.

The applicant selection interview:

The first impression is the decisive one. If possible, wear appropriate clothing in which you feel comfortable but do not appear too "casual" or "overdressed". Punctuality is very important.
