3rd Long Night of Vaccination

The district of Börde is taking part in the 3rd Long Night of Vaccination - a nationwide initiative of the Federal Association of Healthcare Pharmacists (Bundesverband der Versorgungsapotheker e.V.) - with a public vaccination campaign.

The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the upcoming flu vaccination season and increase vaccination rates. In its latest data, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) shows that vaccination rates in Germany are well below the recommendations. Only 38% of people over the age of 60 have been vaccinated against influenza, whereas 75% are recommended (Bundesverband der Versorgungsapotheker e.V. (BVVA), 2025).

According to the Standing Committee on Vaccination (STIKO), the influenza vaccination is still particularly recommended for chronically ill people, pregnant women and people with an increased occupational risk of infection (e.g. medical staff).

In order to provide the citizens of the Börde district with a low-threshold offer, the Office for Health and Consumer Protection, in cooperation with the Office for Fire, Disaster Control and Rescue Services, is organising a public vaccination campaign for the upcoming influenza season.

Citizens have the opportunity to be vaccinated against influenza at the following times without registration and additional costs:

Wednesday, 8 October 2025

  • from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the district administration in Haldensleben

Tuesday, 21 October 2025

  • from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. at the district administration in Oschersleben

  • from 14.00 to 18.00 in the district administration at the Haldensleben site

Only the health card of the health insurance company (eGK) and the vaccination card must be presented for the vaccination. If you have any questions, please contact the Office for Health and Consumer Protection on 03904/7240-2529.
