Sports promotion of the Landkreis Börde

Sport is an integral and central part of our society. Sport is just as diverse as our society is diverse. Sport serves in a special way to integrate minorities, the socially disadvantaged, migrants and people with disabilities.

Sport is also an important part of social life in the Landkreis Börde. Values such as fairness, reliability, accountability, helpfulness, consideration, tolerance and respect for others are conveyed through one's own sporting activities and through involvement in sports clubs. These are all values that children, young people and adults learn and experience through sporting activity.

Through the promotion of sports, extensive offers and opportunities for sports work in the clubs and especially in children's and youth sports are to be secured, improved and expanded. The administrative Landkreis Börde understands in it a substantial contribution for the support and improvement of the health and efficiency, as well as for the social and social development of its citizens.

The administrative Landkreis Börde grants subsidies for the promotion of sports on the basis of its guideline for the promotion of sports in the administrative Landkreis Börde. The implementation of this sports promotion program is carried out by the Kreissportbund Börde e.V..

The following are supported

• the realization of sports events
• the acquisition of sports equipment
• participation in championships
• training and further education
• the remuneration of trainers
• junior competitive sports and children's and youth games
• the sport work in the associations (association lump sum)
• the promotion of the work of the district sports association Börde

The granting of sports funding is a voluntary service of the district Börde. The granting takes place in the respective financial year due to dutiful discretion within the scope of the available budget funds. There is no legal claim to funding of a measure.
