• General promotion of education in the family
• Counseling in questions of partnership, separation and divorce
• Counseling and support in the exercise of personal custody and rights of access

Help for upbringing

• Part-time inpatient and outpatient in the form of group work and outreach family assistance
• inpatient in the form of socio-educational residential communities or foster families

Assistance for young adults

• the age group of 18 - 21 years has the possibility of counseling and support by the general social service as well as assistance in the outpatient and inpatient area

Participation in family court proceedings

• The General Social Service is requested by the family courts to participate in proceedings concerning parental care, contact or the appointment of a guardian in connection with minor children.

Protection mandate in the event of a risk to the well-being of a child

• The implementation of the legal protection mandate is carried out by the General Social Service in the form of examinations of possible endangerment situations for underage children and the initiation of necessary protection measures.
