The first point of contact for vaccination against COVID-19 is usually the doctor's offices.
In the past 2 years, the Landkreis Börde has offered "Corona vaccinations" at the vaccination center in Haldensleben, and later at various decentralized locations. In addition, mobile vaccination teams have been on the road in Börde County to provide on-site vaccination in nursing homes and institutions for integration assistance. Various special vaccination days were also organized and held in close cooperation with the mayors in the Landkreis Börde.
The thanks of the Landkreis Börde, the district administrator Martin Stichnoth, is directed to all stakeholders who have helped to support the vaccination activities. Many thanks first and foremost to the volunteers, the vaccination teams, often headed by retired doctors, to the (temporarily) full-time comrades-in-arms and to the cities and municipalities, which ultimately made an important contribution to driving the vaccination coverage rate of the population upwards.
