As at previous state festivals, the district of Börde is participating together with clubs, associations and companies from the region.
The districts and independent towns will present themselves in five regional villages, including the Elbe-Börde-Heide regional village, where the district of Börde and its partners will provide an insight into life, culture, tourism and the economy of the Börde. In Bernburg, the town of Haldensleben, the Gut Gneisenau perfume school, Optische Telegraphie in Preußen e.V., the Offene Heide citizens' initiative, the Colbitzer Heidebrauerei brewery and the "ALTE MÜNZE" interest group will be presenting themselves.
The regional villages present their own stage programmes with a varied mix of dance groups, bands and up-and-coming regional talent. The stage programme includes contributions from the Börde district on all three days: the Ebendorfer Carneval Club blau/weiß e.V., the band "Captain Silver", the duo "Handgemacht", the TSV Niederndodeleben with the dance group TT Flash, the musician "Webster" and the music school bands "DIE QUITSCHIES" and "BRODCAST". The "OK-Live Ensemble und Jugendkunstschule e.V." will perform on the Radio SAW stage.
Another highlight is the big parade on Sunday through the city centre of Bernburg, where regions, associations, initiatives and institutions from all over Saxony-Anhalt will present themselves. The Börde district will also be represented in this parade.
The state festival marks a special anniversary: 30 years after the first Saxony-Anhalt Day, the festival returns to its place of origin: Bernburg hosted the first state festival in 1996.
A colourful programme of music, dance, culinary delights, exhibitions and hands-on activities awaits guests in the streets and squares of Bernburg city centre.
