The starting signal for CITY CYCLING 2025 was given on Monday, 25 August 2025. The Börde district accompanied the town of Haldensleben on its first bike ride from the town hall through the town and collected the first kilometres with a large number of active cyclists for more cycling promotion, climate protection and quality of life in the municipality. At the opening, there were already 1,555 registrations for the CITY CYCLING campaign, of which 926 cyclists had already covered 19,784 kilometres after just one day.
Will the previous year's figure of 284,135 kilometres cycled be beaten again? The chances are good.
Up to and including the last of the 21 CITY CYCLING days, you can register at https://www.stadtradeln.de/landkreis-boerde and join a team or set up your own team.
CITY CYCLING is a campaign by Climate Alliance Services and is supported by the Saxony-Anhalt Bicycle-Friendly Municipalities Working Group and the Saxony-Anhalt Ministry of Infrastructure and Digital Affairs.
