In accordance with Section 28 (2) LWO, all parties and individual candidates are requested to submit their district election proposals for constituencies 7 (Haldensleben), 8 (Wolmirstedt) and 9 (Oschersleben-Wanzleben) to the responsible district returning officer by Monday, 20 July 2026, at 6 p.m. at the latest, as proposals received after the deadline must be rejected.
The constituencies include:
Constituency 7 - Haldensleben
Flechtingen municipality with the member municipalities Altenhausen, Beendorf, Bülstringen, Calvörde, Erxleben, Flechtingen, Ingersleben
Town of Haldensleben with all districts
Municipality of Niedere Börde with all districts
Municipality of Obere Aller with the member municipalities of Eilsleben, Harbke, Hötensleben, Sommersdorf, Ummendorf, Völpke, Wefensleben
Constituency 8 - Wolmirstedt
Municipality of Barleben with all districts
Municipality of Elbe-Heide with the member municipalities of Angern, Burgstall, Colbitz, Loitsche-Heinrichsberg, Rogätz, Westheide, Zielitz
Municipality of Hohe Börde with all districts
City of Wolmirstedt with all districts
Constituency 9 - Oschersleben-Wanzleben

District election nominations may be submitted by parties and individual candidates, i.e. candidates who do not represent a party (Section 14 (1) LWG).

The district electoral committee will decide on the approval of the district nominations by 24 July 2026 (44th day before the election) at the latest.
